A new milestone for our fleet: The A2B Progress has been launched!
Today we celebrate a special moment: our second newbuild vessel, the A2B Progress, has touched the water for the first time at the SEDEF shipyard in Tuzla (Turkey). Following the earlier success of her sister ship, the A2B Vision, this launch brings our vision for a modern and sustainable fleet another major step closer.

The addition of the A2B Progress is not just an expansion of our capacity. It is a conscious investment in the future. Both new vessels are designed with the latest technologies to reduce our ecological footprint and optimize operational efficiency. This steady fleet renewal allows us to make our maritime logistics greener and offer our customers an even more reliable service.
The final phase before departure
Now that the A2B Progress is safely in the water, the final outfitting phase at the shipyard begins. It is wonderful to see how the designs from the drawing board have now truly transformed into two impressive vessels in the water. The entire team is greatly looking forward to officially commissioning the A2B Vision and the A2B Progress in the near future.

Today, the container and shortsea specialist announces the expansion of its successful fleet renewal program with an order for a third and fourth vessel. These state-of-the-art ships will be constructed by the renowned China Merchants Industry Weihai Shipyard.
Launch of strategic new liner service Moerdijk - Tilbury
1 September 2026 – Official launch of the new connection: A2B-online expands its Shortsea network with the introduction of a new liner service connecting the Port of Moerdijk and the Port of Tilbury. The inaugural sailing departed Moerdijk on Monday, August 31, docking in Tilbury on Tuesday morning, September 1.
New Liner Service between Moerdijk and Tilbury
1 July 2026 – A2B-online today announced a strategic realignment of its liner services. The long-standing and highly successful connection between Moerdijk and Thamesport will make way for a new liner service between Moerdijk and Tilbury. The inaugural sailing is scheduled to depart from Moerdijk on 31 August, arriving in Tilbury on 1 September.
