A2B-online Ship Management BV is looking for an enthusiastic 3rd Officer with a passion for sailing.

What you will do?

• You will be sailing on one of our 7 container ships operating between the Netherlands and the UK.
• You will be jointly responsible for the safety and rescue equipment onboard.
• Together with the crew, you will ensure safe loading/unloading operations and navigation.
• You will perform tasks and safety checks according to procedures.
• You will form a team with the crew and most importantly, enjoy your work.

Who are we looking for?
In this role, you will be sailing on one of our container ships and regularly have contact with all colleagues in the organization. Therefore, we are looking for a social and communicative colleague with empathy. Additionally, you are someone who takes initiative, is creative, and has the motivation to continue learning and growing. 

Furthermore, you have:

• A completed MBO 4 maritime education
• A valid watch keeping officer certificate for all ships
• A valid STCW training certification
• Good computer skills, knowledge of Word and Excel
• Good writing and speaking skills in both Dutch and English
• Experience is not essential, but any proven work experience as a watch keeping officer is a plus
