Purpose of the position:

Reporting to the General Manager we are looking for a Sales Manager to work with the Customer Services Manager in further developing the company's UK customer base, to  allow further growth and expansion.

Key tasks:
● Day to day commercial business development; identifying, contacting and meeting new potential clients.
● Closing the deal
● Maintaining current client relationships
● Encourage and develop volume growth from existing customers
● Maintain and develop link between sales UK and sales Continent and Customer services and Operations.

Skills and competencies:
● Excellent communication skills
● (Proven track record in) people management and leadership skills (conflict management/performance management)
● Fluent in English
● Good knowledge of IT systems
● Candidates must be able to demonstrate knowledge in UK and European geography, trailer transport, and shipping ferry/port knowledge

Educational background/Work experience:
● Higher education - (graduate work - and think level)
● Min. 5 years working experience
● Commercial experience a must
● Relevant industry experience not a must, but will be advantageous
